Panther® lighted headgear is designed to provide ultra bright hands free task lighting for poorly lit locations.  The design is based upon a premium 6-panel brushed cotton cap with patented integration of two or more LED’s into the front edge of the cap’s brim.  The super bright white LED’s provide powerful and useful light. Basic Cap Specifications

 

100% cotton, 6-panel, low profile/pro style cap with top button and (6) sewn eyelets, sandwich bill in same or contrasting color with sewn eyelets for LED’s, embossed Panther®

brass buckle with adjustable leather strap and brass grommet hideaway closure.  Lighting control battery uit is attached to leather adjustment strap. Color coordinated sweatband with foam sandwich layer for comfort.  One size fits most.

 

 

How it Works

 

There are two or more ultra bright LED’s integrated into the brim of the cap or visor.  The standard power unit uses (2) coin type CR-2032 lithium batteries that are readily available at most drug and convenience stores.  The average battery life for a two LED hat is 20 hours of continuous operation.  We also offer a “Professional Series” battery pack with push button control. This system utilize three AAA alkaline or nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries for longer life and provide ample power for the four LED cap lighting system.

The minimum luminous intensity of the ultra bright white LED’s is 10,000 mcd each.  The LED’s last an average of 12 years.
